Why Citeworks exists
Search is changing. A growing share of "who should I call" questions now go to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Claude instead of a Google results page — and those engines answer with a short, confident list of names. If your business isn't on that list, you don't get a second-page ranking. You get nothing.
Citeworks measures that gap directly instead of guessing at it. We run the actual questions a customer would ask, capture the actual answers, and show a business exactly who got named instead of them — with the receipts, not a vague "your SEO needs work."
What we actually check
Every audit is built from real, dated evidence: the AI engines' own responses, a business's Google Business Profile and on-site structured data, review profile, and content freshness. Nothing on an audit is a projection or an estimate presented as fact — if we didn't measure it, it doesn't go on the page.
What we fix
Most of what makes a business invisible to AI engines is fixable in days, not months: a Google Business Profile that lists one generic category instead of the specific services a business actually offers, missing structured data that tells search engines what a business does, inconsistent name/address/phone across directories, and a content footprint that's gone stale. We do the fix, not just the diagnosis, and we re-scan every month so the result is something you can see change.
How we operate
Citeworks is a small, direct operation — no account managers, no discovery calls required to understand what you're buying. Fixed scope, fixed price, listed deliverables. If you'd rather cancel after the first month and maintain it yourself, we send you the checklist. No hard feelings.
